Star Gazing
I seem to have lost my ability to sleep in. Is it the iced tea I drank yesterday afternoon? Or the fact that the sun is going down sooner each night, so that we go to bed earlier and earlier?
For the last two mornings I have been up early enough to watch the stars fade, but boy were they bright this morning! Not only Orion's belt, but his sword was very visible. The Big Dipper has swung a long way around Polaris. I am curious to look up the name of a very bright star high in the SW sky. And I have seen two 'falling stars'.
We are back in Blind Bay once more. Yesterday we tied to the dock at Orcas and visited the grocery store. Yay for salad!!! Today we may take the inter-island ferry (free to walk-on traffic) to Friday Harbor
