Hood Ornaments

When we brought Viking Star to Port Orchard while we took our latest trip to Portland, there were signs everywhere that the parking lot and surrounding streets would be closed on August 12, so when Al parked our rental car Saturday night, he found a spot well up the hill in the neighborhood.

We were woken around 6 AM by the sound of hot rod engines.  This was the 25th year for 'The Cruz'.  We heard over the loudspeaker "We have over 600 entries this year! We have had to put cars where we have never put them before!"

We spent a couple of hours wandering around and admiring the exhibits.  Being a somewhat typical woman, I was greatly attracted to the shiny chrome hood ornaments.  Here are a few that caught my eye:
