Goodbye Clarkston, Hello and Goodbye Lewiston

There's no one left to take pictures of US as we leave the area, so you will have to settle for some self-portraits  this morning.  It was pretty, with the sun just up and the mist rising.

Our duck friends out for a morning tour

I always think of Grandpa Ernest when I see Black-Eyed Susans

Go West, Viking Star, Go West

Here is the 'Blue Bridge' crossing the Snake between Clarkston and Lewiston, as far as we can go!

The big things we heard about on the local news last night.....They are destined for Montana for use to remove oil from shale.  They will be going over Lolo Pass by truck.

We are on the Clearwater River, gone as far as we can, and turn west to begin our trip down river.
